September of Service: Week 2

Target-HouseSOS
September of Service is Off to a Great Start!
Dozens of volunteers worked at seven local agencies during the first week of September of Service. CBUers and their friends and family members tidied a golf course for Memphis Athletic Ministries; organized shelves at Habitat For Humanity ReStore; helped clients of Alzheimers Day Services; cleaned and organized at Dorothy Day House of Hospitality; cleaned toys and rolled silverware at Target House at St. Jude (pictured above); cleaned cages and played with the animals at Collierville Animal Services; and provided hospitality for clients of Manna House, which serves homeless individuals. Pictures of these projects and the SOS kickoff can be seen at www.facebook.com/SeptemberofService.
