CBU continues to claim its place among the Top Tier of Southern Universities according to U.S. News and World Report’s 2016 edition of “America’s Best Colleges.” CBU is ranked 27th of 127 schools included among the Regional Universities category in the U.S. News methodology, which is based upon classifications created by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. U.S. News also ranks CBU ninth for “Best Value“ and fourth for “Campus Ethnic Diversity“ among its peers in the South. CBU has also been ranked as a “Best Value Small College for a Business Administration Degree” by BestValueSchools.com. The ranking, which was published in July, was created using National Center for Education Statistics’ College Navigator data to identify the most affordable competitive small colleges in the U.S. for a degree in business or management. CBU, which ranked 19th among the Top 50, is noted for its seven different business options for a business degree.
