“CROSSCUT” EXHIBITION:
An exhibition of new paintings by Nick Peña (Visual & Performing Arts) entitled “Crosscut” is in the Beverly & Sam Ross Gallery through October 8. In “Crosscut,” Peña continues his investigation of the ever-shifting concept of the American Dream, and the effects that ideal has on both our environment and our national psyche. While this new work still plays off of the contrasts between past and present, representation and abstraction, and stability and instability, the material used is pushed further in an attempt to highlight the unique balance of these apposing concepts. The Ross Gallery is located on the lower level of Plough Library and is open during regular Library hours.
