CBU encourages all students, faculty, and staff to register and update their emergency contact number(s) in the mass notification system, CBU’s primary emergency notification system. Even if you registered for the service last year, please register again due to the system being purged to ensure quality service and notification accuracy.
The mass notification system allows students, faculty, and staff to receive emergency messages on multiple devices. Individuals may identify as many as three telephone numbers and one CBU email address (automatically) for receiving emergency notifications. Both voice and text messages can be sent to cell phones. To register or update your information, a valid CBU email account is required. Registration or updating your information is simple and straightforward. Simply visit the Registration Page at https://neelix.cbu.edu/auth/safety/notifications and follow the instructions.
If you do not wish to receive emergency notifications, simply do not fill out this form.
Other than periodic tests, this system will only be used for emergencies requiring immediate action on the part of the CBU community.
